Taeb: Strait of Hormuz is under Iran’s control and management

Pars Today – Hojjatoleslam Hossein Taeb, head of Iran’s Basij Organization, said that the United States sought to undermine the popularity of the Islamic Revolution in the region by launching a new war in the Strait of Hormuz, but was once again defeated by Iran, which Washington had claimed had neither an air force nor a navy.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Taeb made the remarks on Thursday morning during a meeting with Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami, a member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts and Tehran’s interim Friday prayers leader.

He said that the broad participation of the Iraqi people in the grand funeral ceremony for the martyred leader in Iraq demonstrated Iran’s regional power.

He added that the Americans witnessed the power of the Islamic Revolution during the funeral ceremony, while Iraqis themselves said they had not expected such a large turnout.

The head of Iran’s Basij Organization said the enemies realized that the popularity of an individual among his own people and the peoples of the region could not be measured or calculated according to any conventional formula, adding that this popularity had been clearly demonstrated to the world.

He said, “In order to disrupt these equations, they once again launched another war in the Strait of Hormuz and sought to carry out new aggression. But, by God’s grace, the Americans who claim that the Iranians have neither an air force nor a navy were once again defeated.”

Taeb said: “Today, you can see that the Strait of Hormuz is under the management and control of the Islamic Republic, and Iran is continuing on its course in complete security.”
