Iran condemns Israeli regime’s crimes in Lebanon

Pars Today — Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s brutal attacks on various parts of Lebanon, including Ansar, the Ali al-Taher heights, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, and Deir al-Zahrani. The attacks martyred 11 people, including three children and two women from the same family, injured several others, and destroyed residential and civilian sites.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Baghaei, speaking Saturday night, referred to the Israeli regime’s continued military aggression against Lebanon and its violations of the country’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity. He described the continued silence and inaction of the UN Security Council in the face of blatant violations of international law and international humanitarian law as regrettable.

He stressed the need for an immediate halt to the Israeli regime’s acts of aggression in southern Lebanon and its immediate withdrawal from Lebanese-occupied territories.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson also praised the Lebanese people’s dignified resistance against the occupying regime’s aggression, emphasizing Lebanon’s legal and legitimate right to use all available means to defend itself against such aggression. He further reaffirmed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s solidarity with Lebanon in defending its national sovereignty, independence, and dignity.
