Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi
Pars Today – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, referring to the changes in Iran’s foreign policy since the war, said that the perception of Iran as a weak country has been completely erased.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Araghchi told the Iranian government’s official news website, in an interview about the Foreign Ministry’s diplomatic efforts over the past two years: “In my view, Iran’s post-war foreign policy will be completely different from the period before the war. The perception of a weak Iran has been completely erased.”
He added: “On the second or third day of the U.S. war against Iran, Trump posted a tweet containing two words: ‘Unconditional surrender.’ They were seeking Iran’s surrender, but they were disappointed. They pursued regime change, but were disappointed. They pursued partition, but were disappointed. They sought to provoke internal unrest. They pursued every plan they could, but failed to bring the war to a swift conclusion.”
Gharibabadi: We will soon correct Trump’s delusions
Meanwhile, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi responded on social media to Trump’s latest claim regarding the Strait of Hormuz, saying:
“Just as Trump correctly wrote the name of the everlasting Persian Gulf, his delusion regarding the Strait of Hormuz will soon either be corrected—or we will correct the delusions of this delusional man.”
