Nikzad: US fuel prices show Iran’s control over Strait of Hormuz

Ali Nikzad, deputy speaker of Iran’s Parliament
Pars Today- Iran’s Parliament deputy speaker said that it is fuel price displays in the United States, not empty tweets, that determine whether the Strait of Hormuz remains open or closed.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Ali Nikzad, deputy speaker of Iran’s Parliament, said regarding the empty claims stemming from the desperation of the delusional US president: “It is natural that when a so-called superpower has tasted the bitter defeat of facing the iron will and firm faith of the great Iranian nation, it will try to avoid accepting this humiliating defeat through media campaigns, threats and bluster. But it is the realities on the ground, not rhetoric, that determine the outcome.”
He added: “You were supposed to turn Iraq into the 51st US state, but you were forced to leave a powerful Iraq in disgrace and humiliation, with 10,000 killed and 31,000 wounded. Whether the Strait of Hormuz remains open or closed is determined by fuel price displays in the United States, not empty tweets. The Iranian nation decided years ago to live independently and has stood by that decision. It is in your own interest to accept this reality and bow to the will of the Iranian nation.”
Nikzad said: “The US president’s threats are aimed at domestic consumption and are intended to influence US domestic elections; they have no value on the ground. Nevertheless, the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to respond to any renewed adventurism more firmly, forcefully and severely. The self-sacrificing people of our beloved Islamic Iran, including the powerful Armed Forces and devoted people, are ready to punish the aggressors in a way that will serve as a lesson for history.”
