According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi responded to claims by US officials regarding the imposition of the most crippling economic operation in history against Iran.
Posting an image of a message from 14 years ago by then-US President Barack Obama, Araghchi wrote:
"14 years ago: “Most crippling sanctions in history.” Failed.
8 years ago: “Maximum pressure.” Failed.
5 months ago: “Unconditional surrender.” Failed.
Today: “Most crushing economic operation ever.” Bound to fail.
Araghchi added: “We have seen this movie before. Same bull. Different bullies.”
