Mohseni Ejei: Iran is only country that stood up to bullying U.S

ParsToday – Iran’s Judiciary Chief said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is the only country that has stood up to the bullying United States and will not submit to oppression or coercion.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Hojjatoleslam Gholam-Hossein Mohseni Ejei, Chief of Iran’s Judiciary, made the remarks during a meeting with Islamic scholars and religious leaders in India.

Referring to US and Israeli regime crimes against Iran, he described the attack on Shajareh Tayyebeh School in Minab as an apparent war crime, saying that the schoolchildren were martyred in such a manner that it was impossible to identify many of their bodies, forcing families to undergo DNA tests to identify their children.

He said that dozens of schools, hospitals, cultural centers, and national and religious infrastructure facilities had also been targeted by the aggression of the United States and the Israeli regime. He added that under international law, civilian sites enjoy special protection under international humanitarian law, and the prohibition against attacking such sites is explicitly recognized in international law.

Referring to the Israeli regime’s crimes in Gaza, Mohseni Ejei said: “When widespread crimes were being committed against the people of Gaza, if international organizations had taken a firm stand, the aggressors would not have dared to commit aggression against another country today. The indifference of the international community creates the conditions for these crimes to be repeated.”

He said that the Islamic Republic of Iran has witnessed the fruits of 48 years of struggle against the arrogant powers and has been the only country to stand up to the United States, stressing: “Iran is a peace-seeking and justice-promoting country and will not submit to oppression or coercion.”
