Pars Today — Iran’s representative in the over-100-kilogram category of Pahlavani wrestling has won the title at the World Rural and Nomadic Games.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Mostafa Taghani, Iran’s representative in the over-100-kilogram Pahlavani wrestling category, delivered a dominant performance in the final of the World Rural and Nomadic Games in Kyrgyzstan, defeating his Kyrgyz opponent to claim the gold medal.
Taghani put on a powerful display in the final and secured a technical victory over the host nation’s wrestler, deservedly taking the top spot and bringing another valuable gold medal to the Iranian delegation.
After the bout, Taghani embraced his opponent in a display of Pahlavani spirit and sportsmanship, a gesture that drew widespread applause from spectators in the arena.
