Baghaei: IAEA Board of Governors resolution against Iran was entirely political

Pars Today- Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman stressed that the anti-Iran resolution adopted by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors was an entirely political decision imposed on the board by the United States and Israel.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei, speaking to Al Jazeera in response to the IAEA Board of Governors’ anti-Iran resolution, said: “This is unacceptable to Iran. They did not even find a single indication that Iran’s nuclear program has been used for anything other than peaceful purposes.”

He continued: “So this was an entirely political decision imposed on the IAEA Board of Governors by the United States and Israel.”

Baghaei noted: “We are now defending ourselves against US military aggression, which has continued so far. They are now using a naval blockade and economic warfare against Iran.”
