Leader hails of Islamic Republic of Iran police as pillar of security

Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, said on Tuesday that security is essential for the country's progress and the Islamic Republic of Iran Police (IRIP) plays a vital role in maintaining national security.

While granting audience to IRIP commanders and officials on the occasion of “Police Day”, he said the capability and preparedness of the police force along with firm determination and faith of the IRIP personnel should be upgraded day by day.

Ayatollah Khamenei said: “The role of IRIP personnel in maintenance of the country's security and enforcing law and order is known to all.”

He warned that in the absence of security, the incentives of the people to advance the economic, cultural, political goals in the society will get nowhere.

The Leader hailing the Islamic Republic of Iran Police as the prominent pillar for maintenance of the country's security, law and order, called for use of advanced science and technology by IRIP to fulfill its obligation and meet people’s security demands.
