Pars Today- The event to introduce Iran's tourism capacities (Road Show) was held in Indonesia.

Ali Asghar Shalbafan, Deputy of Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said during the event Road Show in Indonesia, "Indonesian tourists can enjoy Iran's update and efficient medical and treatment capacities within the framework of health tourism." According to Pars Today, on the sideline of this event which was held with the participation of governmental and private activists in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, Shalbafan appreciated the good hospitality and remarkable welcome accorded by more than 120 tourism companies to the event of introducing Iran's tourism capacities.

Thanks to having rich cultural and historical sources, enjoying specialized treatment and medical opportunities within the framework of health tourism and also being a middle destination for the Hajj pilgrims with providing Umra Plus tours, the Islamic Republic of Iran is considered an attractive opportunity for Indonesian tourists.

This official of the Iranian ministry of cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts, stressing that tourism not only contributes to the economic growth of countries but also bolsters the cultural and social bridges among nations, added that Iran is ready to increase cooperation with Indonesia and make use of common experiences and know-how.

Shalbafan emphasized on unilateral annulment of visa by the Islamic Republic of Iran for Indonesia as a way to encourage the private sector in both countries to exchange tourists, and said,

"Indonesia has the most Muslim population in the world which, regarding the expanse of halal tourism in Iran for every type of tourism, including food, sports, water and beach entertainments, it can be a good destination for Indonesian Muslims."

He referred to hospitality as one of the cultural values of the Iranians' culture which, alongside the ancient history and civilization, has made the country a pole of tourist attraction with cultural and historical monuments in the cities like Isfahan and Shiraz.
