Imam Khamenei: Normalization of ties solving no problem, Palestine needs to return to main owners

Pars Today- Imam Khamenei, on Teacher's Day on Wednesday, addressing thousands of visiting teachers and related personnel from around the country, considered the spread of demonstrations in support for Palestine to the US and other countries a sign of continuation of the issue of Gaza among the world public opinion.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, during this visit stressed, "The crimes of the Zionist regime and the US complicity with it, proved the rightfulness of the Iranian nation and system in negation of the Occupying regime and pessimism towards the US."

Imam Khamenei deemed it as necessary to increase public opinion pressure on the Occupying regime and added, "The savage and cruel behavior of the rabid Zionist dog proved the rightfulness of the stance of the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation, and the carnage of 30 thousand and so people, half of whom are women and children, showed the roguish and wicked nature of the Zionist regime and rightfulness of the Iranian permanent stance to the world."

Imam Khamenei, considered the behavior of the US and its relevant establishments against "non-violent and non-destructive protest" of students opposing the Israeli crimes as another reason to prove the stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran in pessimism towards the American government, and said, "This issue showed to all that the US is the partner-in-crime and accomplice of Zionists in the unforgivable sin of carnage of the people of Gaza, and that some of their apparently sympathetic words are false, too. Thus, the Islamic Republic's stance that the American government cannot be trusted was proved."

The Leader called the only solution to the issue of Palestine to be the proposal raised by Iran, i.e. to return Palestine to its main owners, including Muslim, Christian and Jewish, and stressed, "Until Palestine is not returned to its main owners, the problem of West Asia will not be solved and even if they try for 20 or 30 years to keep up the Zionist regime- which they can't- Insha-Allah- this issue will not be solved."

Imam Khamenei went on to say, "Palestine must return to its people and after the formation of the Palestinian system, they themselves will decide how to treat the Zionists."

He, referring to the moves to normalize ties with the Zionist regime by some of the regional countries, said, "Some think that the issue will be solved with these works; while with the assumption of normalization of the Zionist regime's ties with the Arab countries around, not only the problem will not be solved, but also the problem itself will face the governments which, closing their eyes to the crimes of the Occupying regime, have extended the hands of friendship with it and nations will scuffle with their governments."

During this visit, Imam Khamenei, congratulating the Teacher's Day, said that venerating and gratitude towards teachers is the duty of each and every Iranian, and reiterating that Ministry of Education is not comparable to any other organization in terms of importance and effectiveness, continued, "Identity-building of the adolescent and young generations and creation of exuberance and hope in them, continuous development, material and non-material empowerment of teachers, support for teacher-training centers, strengthening of spiritual training deputy and role model-building among the teachers' community are the most important headings for the job of [Ministry of] Education."

Empowerment was another duty of the Ministry of Education that Ayatollah Khamenei touched upon, saying, "Teachers' livelihood and material empowerment has always been emphasized and now, too, as much efforts as possible should be made in this field."

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, called prevention of creation and spread of social ills among expectations from the youths, adding, "The prelude and condition for materialization of this important issue is that schools themselves don't have social ills which is among the duties of the spiritual training deputy."

Accurate clarification of fundamental issues of the country and the system for the teenagers and youths was another duty of the training deputy, which the Leader pointed to and continued, "If millions of youths and teenagers recognize the fundamental expediencies and basic issues of the country, being aware of the front of the friend and enemy and being immune against the goals of the enemies of the nation, the enemies' massive media and political investment won't bear fruit."

Imam Khamenei added, "Students, youths, and teenagers should be informed of the logic and rationality of the policies and conduct of the system and should know what logic is behind the slogans, 'Death to the US' and 'Death to Israel'; and why Iran is not intent to set up relations with some countries and governments."

The Leader also referred to "Giving national look to students" as another expectation, saying, "National look means that a student must know that education and the class is a part of a public movement towards progress and a part of the great machine which pushes the country and the system forward. Therefore, it is necessary to make the students aware of the national honors, the assets of the country, victories gained in right paths and also dangers and enmities."

Ayatollah Khamenei, considering hope-inspiration as a duty of teachers, said, "Hope is the guarantor of the country's future and if someone arouses hope in the heart of the youth and teenager, in fact, he has helped to build the future of the country and, for this reason, we have insisted on hope-inspiration repeatedly."
