Pezeshkian: Era of powers' totalitarianism is over
Pars Today- President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, in a meeting with the Secretary of the Russian National Security Council, Sergei Shoigu, stating that the era of totalitarianism of some powers in the world, including the US, is over, made it clear, "Common stances and cooperation of Iran and Russia in promotion of multipolar world will definitely lead to further upgrading of global security and peace.
Sergei Shoigu, the Secretary of Russian National Security Council, has traveled to Tehran to meet with the officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran. According to Pars Today, Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian, during the meeting with Shoigu, referring to the gruesome crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza and the regime's warmongering measures in the region, castigated the support of the US and certain Western countries for the fake Zionist regime while these countries are masquerading as defenders of human rights.
Pezeshkian, describing these criminal acts of the Zionist regime against the defenseless and oppressed people of Gaza and the assassination of Hamas' political bureau's chairman, Ismail Haniyeh, in Iran as obvious examples of violation of international rules and regulations, and added, "Iran is never seeking to expand war and crisis in the region, but this regime will definitely receive the response for its crimes and impudence."

The Iranian president, also, called expansion of ties with Russia as a priority of the Islamic Republic of Iran's foreign policy and stressed the need to accelerate execution of the inked agreements.
Appreciating the Russian supportive stance for the Palestinian people and condemnation of the criminal acts of the fabricated Zionist regime, he underlined Iran's resolve to expand bilateral interactions, especially in the political and economic affairs.
Sergei Shoigu, for his part, called the Islamic Republic of Iran as one of the key and strategic allies of Russia in the region and, while expressing pleasure at the joint efforts of both countries to create a multipolar world and maintain regional security, made it clear, "The relations of Russia and Iran have been growing in all fields and there are very good prospects for expansion of interactions."
The top Russian security official also underlined his country's interest in acceleration of accomplishment of bilateral projects, such as the North-South Corridor, and said, "Russia attaches high importance for cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the international organizations including the UN, BRICS and Shanghai."
