Iranian delegation demands full rights to waters of Hirmand river in talks in Kabul
May 10, 2025 06:13Pars Today- At the 29th meeting of Hirmand Water Commissioners, which was held in Kabul to follow up on the implementation of the 1972 Hirmand River Treaty, the Iranian side assessed the amount of precipitation and rainfall in the previous and current years as normal based on technical calculations and data from reputable international databases, and accordingly demanded full rights to Iran's share of the waters of Hirmand river from Afghan officials.
