Iran, Tajikistan call for greater regional cooperation on Afghanistan

Pars Today – On Saturday, the foreign ministers of Iran and Tajikistan met to discuss recent regional and global developments, stressing the importance of greater regional cooperation on Afghanistan.

Seyyed Abbas Araghchi and Sirojiddin Muhriddin met and conferred during the '14th Tehran Dialogue Forum' in Iran. They reviewed ways to expand economic and trade cooperation, enhance cultural and security ties, and facilitate people-to-people exchanges. The ministers also emphasized the deep cultural, linguistic, and civilizational ties between the two nations and called for comprehensive bilateral cooperation within a framework of historic and brotherly relations./ ISNA
