Emirates jet with 275 people on broad crash-lands in Dubai

Emirates Airline says a plane with 275 passengers and crew on board crash-landed at Dubai airport on Wednesday.

Footage on social media showed smoke billowing from the aircraft but the government said all the passengers were evacuated safely. 

Dubai Media Office said the plane was coming from India, adding it was involved in an “accident” while landing.   

"All passengers were evacuated safely and no injuries have been reported so far," it said on its Twitter account.
