Several Palestinians injured by Israeli gunfire in Qalqilia, Jenin
Several Palestinians were injured by Israeli occupation forces today during confrontations in various locations in the occupied West Bank cities of Nablus, Jenin and Qalqilia, as massive protests erupted across the occupied territories in protest of the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
According to the Palestine’s Wafa News Agency, in Qalqilia, two young men sustained gunshot wounds from Israeli live ammunition during confrontations near the northern checkpoint of the city.
Both were rushed to Dr. Darwish Nazzal Public Hospital in Qalqilia to for medical treatment. Their condition was described as moderate.
Confrontations also erupted in the village of Haja, east of Qalqilia, where Israeli occupation forces fired sound grenades and toxic gas near the village's main entrance. No injuries were reported.
In Jenin, a young man was shot with live ammunition and moderately injured in his shoulder during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in the vicinity of the Jalamah military checkpoint.
