Pars Today- The United Nations expressed concern over the situation of mothers and babies in Palestine.

"Physicians won't see newborns any more in natural size in Gaza Strip", said Dominic Allen, the UN Population Funds Representative for Palestine, in a conference after visiting Gaza, making it clear that the anti-human situation in Gaza has turned into a nightmare for Palestinian mothers delivering small-size and sick babies.

Dominic Allen, announcing that 180 women are giving birth in the destroyed Gaza every day while suffering from hunger and lack if water, added, "Due to malnutrition of mothers and shortage of facilities, a high percentage of babies are stillborn nor die in the first minutes after birth."

This UNFPA member also condemned the Zionist officials' prevention of aid cargoes sent to Gaza by the UN Population Funds, saying, "What I saw in Gaza was greater than a human crisis. This is a crisis of humanity."

* The Israeli regime, since October 2023, has launched a widespread carnage in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank of River Jordan against the defenseless and innocent people of Palestine with the full support of Western countries.

According to the latest reports, during the attacks of the Zionist regime on Gaza, nearly 32 thousand Palestinians have been martyred and more than 72 thousand others have become injured.

The core of the Israeli regime was set up in 1917 with the scheme of the British colonialism and, through urging the Jews of different countries to migrate to the Palestinian land, the fabrication of the Zionist regime was announced in 1948. Ever since, innumerable schemes of genocidal massacres of Palestinians and seizure of their ancestral land have been put into effect.
