  • ISIL Takfiri terrorists kill 25 citizens in northern Iraq

Members of the ISIL Takfiri terrorists have reportedly executed more than two dozen civilians in Iraq’s northern province of Kirkuk.

An informed source, requesting not to be named, said on Monday that ISIL (Daesh) members placed 25 local residents of the town of Hawijah, located about 282 km north of the capital, Baghdad, inside a booby-trapped house and then detonated the building, Arabic-language al-Sumaria television reported.

The source added that the Daesh terrorists had accused the victims of espionage and collaboration with Iraqi security forces.

The development came only a few days after Daesh members executed six people in the militant-held city of Mosul, located some 400 km north of Baghdad, by lowering them in a vat of melting bitumen.
