UAE: partner of Israel; "Trade on Gazans' blood"

Pars Today- The Zionist regime envoy to Abu Dhabi informed of signing economic and strategic agreement with the United Arab Emirates.

While the people of Gaza are caught in ceaseless bombardments of the Zionist regime, the UAE, as one of the greatest Arab partners of this regime behind the closed doors, has signed a new economic contract with Zionists which consolidates trade relations of the two sides in the heat of Israeli crimes against Palestinians. According to Pars Today, quoting from Fars news agency, Yossi Shelley, Israeli Ambassador to the UAE, announcing the approval of another economic strategic agreement between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi, claimed on X social network that this agreement of mutual cooperation and assistance in customs affairs has strengthened bilateral economic ties and will contribute to continuous growth and cooperation. Comprehensive economic participation of Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv

The UAE and Israel inked an agreement in 2023 titled, "Comprehensive Economic Participation" which is being implemented. This agreement permits the UAE companies to gain access to Israeli markets and covers more than %96 of customs tariff lines and %99 of the trade value between the two parties. According to the content of this agreement, the two parties are committed to provide open and indiscriminate trade space. Moreover, this agreement provides access to suppliers of UAE services to domestic Israeli services market in the fields of trade, communications, distribution, environment, finance, tourism and services related to trips. According to the UAE commerce ministry, this agreement includes the frameworks for digital trade.

Unprecedented trade of UAE with Zionist regime in climax of Gaza war

The official data, published by the Israeli statistics center, have disclosed unprecedented dimensions of the trade between the United Arab Emirates and Israel during the Gaza war. These data, which cover the period from October 2023 to February 2025, reveal that the UAE has had the greatest volume of exported products with the internal source among the Arab countries. According to the data analysis, during this period, the UAE has exported 1377 sorts of commodities to Israel, 81 of which are among major goods. The most important export groups in this period are jewelry, artistic objects, industrial equipment and raw metals. Pearl, precious stones and golden artefacts worth 584.9 million are on top of this list. Moreover, chemical manure, foodstuff (including fruits and vegetables), drinks, cement, salt, Sulphur, medicines, toys and clothes are in the list of the exported goods.

Increase of UAE exports to Israel

In sum, the exports of UAE products to Israel with internal source have increased. This volume was $32.6 million in October 2023, but it reached $148.4 million in October 2024, i.e. 4.5-fold increase. On the other hand, the UAE has imported 763 types of Israeli commodities in the same period whose value was $737 million. The major part of these imports included jewelry, optic and medical equipment (worth $159.6 million), electronic equipment (worth $80.2 million), foodstuff and drinks (worth $26.2 million).

UAE first partner of regime in Arab world

According to the data of the Israeli statistics center, the volume of bilateral trade of the UAE and Israel has amounted to $4.3 billion during the Gaza war which includes $3.5 billion of UAE exports and $778.5 billion of Israeli exports, that is, one third of the whole trade of Israel with Arab countries during the period.
