Israeli airstrikes continue on different areas of southern Lebanon

Pars Today — Field sources report that Israeli airstrikes continue against residential areas in southern Lebanon.

According to Pars Today, quoting IRNA, fighter jets of the Zionist regime targeted the areas of Debin, Mifdun, and Upper Nabatiyeh in southern Lebanon on Thursday night. In another attack, an Israeli drone struck a residential apartment in the Al-Hawsh area of the city of Tyre.

Meanwhile, the Zionist regime warplanes carried out several strikes on the Upper Nabatiyeh area in southern Lebanon. Another area targeted by Israeli airstrikes in recent hours was Dibaal in the Tyre district. So far, no reports have been published regarding possible casualties from these attacks.

Despite a ceasefire agreement that went into effect on April 17 and was later extended until mid-May, the Zionist regime continues its daily attacks in Lebanon and exchanges fire with Hezbollah.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that in Israeli attacks and aggressions against the south of the country since the ceasefire, 2,896 people have been martyred and 8,824 others wounded.

On the other hand, Lebanon's Hezbollah announced early Friday that, in response to Zionist crimes, it has targeted Israeli army forces and equipment in several separate operations in the border areas of southern Lebanon with rockets and artillery fire. The Lebanese Islamic Resistance announced that a unit of the Israeli army near the newly established point of Al-Bayada was targeted with rockets and artillery fire.
