Pars Today – A military analyst from the Israeli regime has stated that Tel Aviv’s situation in Lebanon has worsened compared to the past.

According to Pars Today, citing Mehr News Agency, Nir Dvori, a military affairs analyst for Channel 12 of the Israeli television network, described the regime’s situation in Lebanon as worse than it was three months ago, emphasizing that Tel Aviv is losing its gains amid the continuation of clashes.

Dvori added that within the framework of the current Israeli military activity along the Blue Line and operations extending beyond the Litani River, Hezbollah was able to identify Israeli armored forces and fire an anti-tank missile at one of the tanks, hitting it and resulting in the death of its commander.

He added that the most dangerous development in recent weeks is that the United States has begun to lose its deterrence capability, and that when U.S. President Donald Trump takes a position, regional actors in Tehran and Beirut no longer take it seriously. He described this as a very negative development for Israel.

Dvori concluded that the current situation indicates Israel’s position in Lebanon has worsened compared to three months ago. He said the army previously had a wide margin of operational freedom in Lebanon and the ability to strike targets in various locations, whereas this margin has now narrowed.

He added that Hezbollah, in contrast, continues to strengthen its capabilities and gain greater confidence for operations, which allows its secretary-general, Sheikh Naim Qassem, to openly declare opposition to U.S. conditions.
