Pars Today – Iraq's Arbaeen Pilgrims Services Committee has announced that the country's state resources have been mobilized to ensure the successful organization of the Arbaeen pilgrimage and provide services and facilities for pilgrims.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Iraq's Security Media Cell, quoting the Arbaeen Pilgrims Services Committee, said that government agencies and resources have been fully mobilized to facilitate the pilgrimage and support millions of participants.

Meanwhile, the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced that they have allocated 17 million liters of water to serve Arbaeen pilgrims during the annual event.

In a related development, Basem Al-Gharabi, a member of the Iraqi Parliament's special committee overseeing Arbaeen preparations, along with two other lawmakers, visited Imam Hassan Hospital in Karbala Province to assess the readiness of the healthcare sector and the hospital's facilities ahead of the Arbaeen pilgrimage.

Al-Gharabi said the visit was part of the parliamentary committee's field program to monitor preparations for the Arbaeen pilgrimage. He explained that its purpose was to assess the level of healthcare and public service readiness, identify needs and challenges, and coordinate with the relevant authorities to address them in order to provide the best possible medical and health services to millions of pilgrims.

Meanwhile, Hussein Ali Al-Hakim, director of Imam Hassan Mujtaba Hospital, outlined the hospital's key plans and measures for delivering healthcare services during Arbaeen. He emphasized the readiness of the hospital's medical and nursing staff and the deployment of all available resources to ensure the successful implementation of the special health plan for the occasion.

In a related development, Abbas Shuyail Al-Zamili, governor of Al-Diwaniyah Province, said the province had achieved exceptional success in implementing its security and service plan for Arbaeen. He added that the phased return of pilgrims would be managed more effectively than last year.

Al-Zamili said the successful management of the Arbaeen pilgrimage was made possible through the efforts of the people of Al-Diwaniyah Province, the mobilization of Husseini mawkibs (pilgrim service camps), service departments, security forces, and the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), all of whom worked together to provide the best possible services to pilgrims.
