Over 22 million pilgrims attend the Arbaeen pilgrimage

ParsToday — The Governor of Karbala has reported the participation of over 22 million pilgrims in the Arbaeen ceremony.

According to ParsToday, citing the IRIB News Agency, "Naseef Al-Khattabi," the Governor of Karbala, announced: Over 22 million pilgrims participated in the Arbaeen pilgrimage, of whom five million were foreign pilgrims.

Naseef Al-Khattabi said: This year, 16,000 Hussaini Mukebs in this province provided services to Arbaeen pilgrims, and the health department of the holy province of Karbala, with the assistance of other ministries, provided medical services to seven million pilgrims.

"Sa'ad Ma'an," the head of the Iraqi Security Information Unit, also reported the successful implementation of the special security plan for the Arbaeen ceremony and said: Five million foreign pilgrims from 172 countries participated in the Arbaeen ceremony.
