Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said that the information available about the Daesh leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi indicates that he fled from Mosul a long time ago.
Abadi pointed out that the Iraqi forces liberated the left side of Mosul completely, and more than half of the right side has so far been liberated, adding that “We liberated the province of Nineveh after we were away from it 300 kilometers,” Bas News reported.
He stressed that the Daesh terrorists are left with only two choices “surrender or death.”
Regarding the location of the Daesh leader al-Baghdadi, Abadi said he escaped from Mosul a long time ago according to the intelligence services.
“We will soon control Iraq’s entire border with Syria,” the Iraqi premier said.
