Daesh withdraws from more positions in Syria's Sweida

The Syrian Army units engaged in fierce clashes with the Daesh terrorists in the Eastern Badiyeh (desert) of Sweida on Tuesday, and regained control over more regions.

The Army men pushed Daesh back from Um Madoukh region Northwest of Toloul al-Safa in the Eastern Badiyeh of Sweida that is located in Southern Damascus.

In the meantime, the Army's artillery and missile units opened heavy fire at Daesh's movements Southwest of Toloul al-Safa, destroying two heavy military vehicles of the terrorists.

Local sources, meantime, said that the Army men exchanged fire with a group of Daesh terrorists and repelled their attack that was aimed at breaking the siege on the terrorists in Toloul al-Safa.

Daesh suffered heavy casualties in the failed attack and pulled back the remaining pockets of its militants from the battlefield.

Reports said earlier today that the Syrian Army pushed Daesh back from Minqar Rahbah, Rahbah and Hawi Hossein regions in Badiyeh.

In the meantime, the Army's artillery and missile units pounded ISIL's positions and developments in a region in the Eastern Badiyeh, destroying their strongholds and killing a number of them.

Also, other units of the Army carried out an ambush operation in Qabr Sheikh Hossein in Badiyeh, inflicting heavy casualties on a group of Daesh terrorists. The Army has tightened noose on Daesh following its recent advances in Badiyeh.
