Pars Today - The French newspaper Le Monde has revealed the French government's concerns about the spread of the Ukraine war on a global scale.

According to Pars Today, Alexander Lukashenko, the President of Belarus, said: "An attack on Belarus would be the spark that ignites World War III." Lukashenko warned about any potential attack on the country, emphasizing: "I warn our enemies, rivals, and those who have not yet understood, 'Do not do this.' An attack on Belarus would be equivalent to World War III."

Meanwhile, as negotiations continue to lift Ukraine's restrictions on using Western long-range missiles to attack Russian soil, and Moscow's warnings in this regard, some European countries are concerned that future developments could lead to the expansion of the war and engulf them, who were themselves among the instigators of this war.

Vyacheslav Volodin, the Chairman of the State Duma of Russia, also emphasized that US President Joe Biden, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and French President Emmanuel Macron may provoke a conflict with irreparable consequences.

Volodin added that the parliaments of the United States and the European Union should consider the consequences of authorizing the use of Western weapons to attack Russia.

In this regard, former US President Donald Trump announced that we are now on the brink of World War III. The current Republican presidential candidate added that the world is heading towards conflict and chaos.

Trump claimed that he is the only one who can prevent World War III from happening if he wins the election.

On the other hand, the French newspaper "Le Monde" revealed the concerns of the French government about the spread of the Ukraine war on a global scale. Le Monde, citing diplomatic sources, reported that French government officials are worried about the conflict in Ukraine getting out of control and are exercising extreme caution.

According to Le Monde, concerns about the conflict turning into a direct confrontation between Moscow and NATO have increased sharply in recent days, and it has been reported that the United States and its allies plan to allow Ukraine to attack deep into Russian territory using Western weapons.

A French diplomatic source told Le Monde that "we must do everything possible to prevent World War III from happening".

This French official emphasized that it is impossible to simply dismiss the hypothesis that the Russians are capable of expanding the scale of their military operations, referring to the warnings of senior Russian officials, including President Vladimir Putin.
