Russian Iranologist couple praises Iranian unity

Pars Today – Russian poet and author Lyudmila Avdiyeva and her husband Gennady Avdiyev, a prominent Iranologist, praised the solidarity of the Iranian people in the face of the Zionist regime’s military aggression.

“We would like not only to express our condolences to the people and government of Iran over Israel’s brazen attack and the loss of nuclear scientists, senior commanders, and other citizens,” they said, “but also to commend the courage and resilience that united all Iranians in this struggle against enemy aggression.”

The Russian couple added: “Iran is a nation with an ancient civilization, a grand history, and a rich culture. It is impossible to destroy what the Iranian people have built over thousands of years.”

Avdiyeva emphasized: “Iran is a powerful and self-sufficient country that will always possess the strength, bravery, and knowledge to resist its enemies.

We believe that Iran-Russia cooperation and projects like the North–South Transport Corridor will also contribute to stability in the Caspian region.”
