According to Pars Today, the Vatican confirmed that Pope Francis died after enduring a severe period of illness. Cardinal Kevin Farrell, the Vatican’s financial and administrative director, shared the news of the Pope’s death in a message posted on the social media platform X.
Pope Francis had been hospitalized at Gemelli Hospital in Rome since February 14 due to double pneumonia. Over the past two years, the Pope was admitted to the hospital multiple times, primarily for lung infections.
