Pars Today- French President, Emmanuel Macron, has a tough path ahead to recognize an independent Palestinian country because of the Zionist lobby's pressure.
Reuters has just announced in a report that Macron is inclined to recognize an independent Palestinian country. According to Pars Today, Reuters wrote that the French officials are examining this measure on the verge of the UN conference due to be hosted jointly by Paris and Riyadh on 17-20 June. The conference will determine the parameters of the roadmap for an independent Palestinian country.
Reuters added that If Macron is firm in its decision, France will be the first Western country, with the highest number of Muslim and Jewish migrants, to recognize the independent Palestinian country. This will expedite the move of smaller countries which are more critical of the fake Zionist regime.
Espen Barth Eide, Norwegian Foreign Minister, said, "If France moves in the path of recognition of the independent Palestinian country, several European countries will follow it."
Macron's stance has changed amidst the cruel aggression of the Zionist regime on Gaza and escalation of violence against the inhabitants of the West Bank by Zionist settlers, and caused an increasing sense of emergency in Paris to take action before the so-called "Two-State Solution" perishes forever.
Anne-Claire Legendre, Macron's aide for West Asian affairs, said during a meeting in New York on 23 May, "We should pass from words to deeds. In the face of realities, the prospect of formation of the Palestinian country should be preserved. Irretrievable and tangible measures are needed."
Reuters added, "Zionist officials have been trying for months to prevent what they call as nuclear bomb in bilateral relations with France."
Recognition of Palestine as a sovereign country by France, as the closest ally of the Israeli regime and a member of the G7, will certainly infuriate the regime's premier, Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to two informed sources, the fabricated Zionist regime has warned about sharing intelligence with France and said that it will make Paris' regional plans complicated.
French officials have said that they wouldn't be affected with the criticisms or pressures of the Israeli regime to give up their decision.
A senior French official stated, "If there is a moment to recognize the Palestinian country, though symbolically, I say that that moment has possibly arrived."
Experts believe that the change in the French government's stance, while all global looks are cast on the developments of Gaza, can somehow be a political game and exploitation of the status quo rather than an operational process to support Palestinians.
