According to IRNA, on Friday evening, Mohammad Reza Aref, Iran’s First Vice President, met with the President of Kyrgyzstan and the Prime Minister of Russia on the sidelines of the 43rd session of the Intergovernmental Council of the Eurasian Economic Union, held in Kyrgyzstan, emphasizing the expansion of bilateral cooperation.

Aref stated that Iran’s observer membership in the Eurasian Union and the implementation of a free trade agreement will significantly contribute to the expansion and deepening of Iran’s relations with the countries of this union.

Trump calls meeting with Putin constructive

The talks between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin were held on Friday evening local time in Alaska. After approximately three hours of discussion with Putin, Trump stated that the meeting achieved “major progress,” with agreements reached on many points and only a few issues remaining unresolved.

106 children martyred due to hunger in Gaza

Munir Al-Barash, Director General of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, stated that 240 people in the region have been martyred from hunger and malnutrition, 106 of whom were children. He warned that if the famine continues, Gaza could soon face a stage where 500 deaths occur daily.
