Iran’s exports to Africa surge 77% in past eight months
Pars Today – Official statistics show significant growth in Iran’s exports to African countries over the past eight months.
Mohammad Reza Safari, Director General of the Africa Office at Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization, announced that Iran’s trade volume with African countries reached $849 million in the past eight months, marking a 77% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Safari added that this level of exports is equivalent to Iran’s total exports to Africa in the previous year.
According to the Africa Office director, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, Somalia, and Tanzania have been Iran’s most important export destinations. / IRIB
