Medvedev: Western countries to be punished

Pars Today – Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said Western leaders will face punishment for crimes committed in their efforts to destroy Russia.

According to Pars Today, citing Mehr News Agency, Medvedev said Volodymyr Zelenskyy's time in office is drawing to an end. He warned that if Ukrainians fail to find new and rational leaders, the country will face inevitable destruction.

The Russian Security Council deputy chairman added that Europe had failed to defeat Russia in Ukraine but had inflicted enormous damage on itself. He accused the West of continuing its hypocritical policy, choosing ultimatums and arms deliveries instead of compromise and mediation.

Medvedev added that the West is seeking to destroy Russia by any means necessary and has enlisted criminal figures such as Mikheil Saakashvili and Zelenskyy for this purpose.

Medvedev further said that Western leaders would face punishment for the crimes they had committed in their efforts to destroy Russia. He argued that Western diplomacy had completely lost its credibility as a tool for resolving political crises, adding that Russia places no importance on the views of the collective West and that its own national interests take precedence over everything else.
