China, Russia firmly oppose Iran-related sanctions

Pars Today – China's Ministry of Commerce has firmly announced its opposition to Iran-related sanctions and called on the United States to correct its wrongful practices in this regard.

According to Pars Today, quoting IRNA, the spokesperson for China's Ministry of Commerce said at a press conference: "China deeply regrets such measures and firmly opposes them."

The Chinese official added: "Beijing urges Washington to immediately correct its wrongful practices and lift sanctions against relevant Chinese companies and individuals. China will resolutely protect the legitimate rights and interests of its companies and citizens."

In a related development, Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Russian Presidency, said on Thursday in an interview with the news section of Russian state television, emphasizing that Russia will continue to develop relations with its partners, including Iran, stating: "We have our partners and friends, and we will maintain and develop friendly and cooperative relations with these countries.
