Nomad World Games: Iran wins third gold medal

Pars Today – Iran’s Mostafa Najafi won the gold medal at the 2026 World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan after a dominant performance in the men’s +100 kg final in the Güleş wrestling discipline.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, on Friday, September 4, during the 2026 World Nomad Games hosted by Kyrgyzstan, Najafi faced Azerbaijan’s representative in the final of the +100 kg category and secured the championship and gold medal with a 6–1 victory.

Before reaching the final, Najafi defeated opponents from the United States, India, Bulgaria, and Azerbaijan.

Najafi’s gold medal was Iran’s third gold medal at the World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan.
