The 14th of the Iranian month of Khordad, falling on Friday June 4 this year, is a doleful day. It is the day when the Islamic Republic of Iran was orphaned with the departure from the mortal world, of its Founder. It is the day when 32 years ago millions of mournful Iranians gave a fitting farewell to the person who rescued them from domestic hegemony and foreign hegemony.
