Apr 07, 2022 18:44As a reminder, we discussed the importance of thanksgiving God, worshipping God and remembrance of God. An essential way to worship God is to resist against satanic temptations which take us towards sins. Prophet Mohammad (SAWA) said to Imam Ali (AS) that it is very difficult to be always in remembrance of God. True remembrance of God means that when the ground is set for committing sin, the individual fears God and does not commit sin.

Apr 06, 2022 16:25As a reminder, we talked about thanksgiving in the previous episode, and said that if we want to thank God, we should worship Him sincerely with pure intention. By the way, what is worship? Perhaps, prayer and fasting are the first things that he word worship brings to the mind. This is not wrong. But these outward things have inward realities which are called Zekr (God’s remembrance).

Just as warriors hold a shield and wear armour to protect themselves against enemies, the faithful should also hold the shield of fasting to be immune against satanic temptations.
