The Queen's Secret (5)
At the turn of the century, the British government claimed that 80% of the people in the country support the monarchy. This figure decreased to 65% in 2005. The cunning method of Queen Elizabeth II is that she doesn't do anything directly. Others administer the affairs and the Queen stays there as a bystander.
According to the British law, Queen Elizabeth II is the head of the executive power. The government, the prime minister and all ministers are indeed the agents of the Queen. All of them are appointed only by her approval. In fact, there is no document in the UK as constitution. Every law that is passed in the House of Commons is considered as the official law. But even this law is not valid without the approval of the Queen. New Zealand is another country where there is no constitution. The fabricated Zionist regime of Israel, too, has no constitution as it is illegal from the very foundation. All of the laws in the UK are valid once they are signed by the Queen. She has the authority to even dissolve the parliament and organize new election.
The air, ground and naval branches of the army are not the national forces but are active as the royal air force, royal ground force and royal navy. Thus, all of them are under the command of the Queen and duty-bound to safeguard the throne. The UK has no national anthem and there is a prayer for the health of the Queen instead. The power of the Queen is not limited to the executive, legislature and army. She has the power to grant amnesty to any of the judicial convicts and if she does this no judge has the right to revise the verdict.
Another domain that the British Queen wields her power is in the war and peace. She is the authority who issues the command for war or peace. The recognition of other countries and regimes is also done by her and the department of foreign affairs is just the spokesperson of the Queen. No international agreement is concluded between the UK and another country or organization except with the permission of the Queen. The Queen has the power to announce a foreign territory as the soil of the UK and the government should try to materialize it. The process of issuance of passport and visas to and from Britain is also in the domain of the Queen's power. The medals of honour are awarded only with the Queen's positive view.
Moreover, the Queen is the religious leader of the country. The highest bishops are designated and dismissed by her. Even the whales, caviars, and a species of swans in the UK are at the disposal of Queen Elizabeth II. 120 thousand hectares of agricultural lands and the entire surface of the sea belong to the Queen. The British adult men should introduce themselves to the Royal Navy as soon as the Queen orders. BBC, as the most powerful media in the UK, works under the Queen, although it styles itself as an independent media. Indeed, the CEO of BBC is elected by a board called BBC Trust which comprises 12 managers. These managers are directly appointed by the Queen. In addition to the election of the CEO, they are the main policymakers of the media. Furthermore, BBC gets the approval of the Queen every 10 years for its performance.
Now the question is: What is the source of this vast domain of authority and power?
According to the British laws, the Queen enjoys two traits. Firstly, she is infallible. Basically, she cannot make a mistake. The British monarch never makes a mistake and is officially considered as infallible. Any mistake is just the mistake of the government, the parliament or the army. Thus, it is they who should be accountable. Secondly, the monarch is not restricted to the legal framework ratified by the parliament. The parliament is inferior to the Queen and, only in very special circumstances, it can determine a framework for the Queen. At emergency cases, the Queen can take any measure without consulting the ministers and no one will be accountable.
This magnitude of authority and power belongs to the country which has styled itself as the symbol of democracy and rule of law. Although the media have done their best to keep the Queen's popularity high, new developments in the world and the UK have faced the monarchy with serious problems.
