How long will Jannat al-Baqie lie in ruins?

Today, the 8th of Shawwal is the anniversary of the tragedy that struck the hearts of Muslims all over the world in the year 1345 AH.

On this day vandals of the heretical Wahhabi cult, after occupying holy Medina through massacre of the innocent men, women, and children of the city of Prophet Mohammad (blessings of God upon him and his progeny), attempted to destroy the Prophet’s holy shrine, and when this sacrilegious move failed, they burst into the sacred Jannat al-Baqie Cemetery.

These Godless hooligans not just razed to the ground the tombs of the leading scholars and jurisprudents of Islam, but also the canopied graves of the Prophet’s wives, his companions, and his family members, especially the towering majestic mausoleum over the shrines of four of the Prophet’s twelve Infallible Heirs – his grandson Imam Hasan Mojtaba, great-grandson Imam Zain al-Abedin, and the latter’s son and grandson, Imam Mohammad Baqer and Imam Ja’far Sadeq (peace upon them). Today, while commemorating the anniversary of this blasphemous move by the ungodly Aal-e Saud regime, first let us turn our faces towards Medina and salute the Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt in a proper manner.    

“Peace upon you O Imams of guidance;

“Peace upon you O Proofs of Allah for the people of the earth;

“Peace upon you who were steadfast in dealing with people with justice;

“Peace upon you O Progeny of the Prophet of Allah;

“I bear witness that you are the rightly guided leaders and that obedience to you is incumbent and that your speech is correct and that you invited (to the truth);

“I bear witness that you are the pillars of religion and support of the earth; you were always under the (caring) eyes of Allah Who transferred you from (a chain of) the wombs of the pure ones… you are pure, your origin is pure. Through you He has favoured us (with His religion)… He has made our salutations to you to be mercy for us and expiation of our sins…

“I have come to you for the people of the world have turned away from you and have taken the signs of Allah as jest and have become arrogant…”

It is now exactly 93 lunar years since Jannat al-Baqie is lying in ruins because of the blasphemous move by the Wahhabi terrorists led by the desert brigand from Najd, Abdul-Aziz ibn Saud, whom the British awarded in 1932 with the spurious state called Saudi Arabia.

This unpardonable crime, which continues to bring tears to the eyes of all true believers, is testimony to the fact that the Saudi regime, which today is a tool of the Great Satan, the US, and is open alliance with that other archenemy of Muslims, the illegal Zionist entity, has the least regard for Islam and Islamic sanctities. As a matter of fact, the Saudis have no connection to the legacy of the Seal of Messengers, otherwise they would not have committed such a cardinal crime in destroying the holy graveyard which the Prophet used to visit regularly and greet the souls of the departed with the following phrase:

"Peace upon you, O Abode of the Faithful! God Willing, we will soon join you. O' Allah, shower mercy on the denizens of al-Baqi".

The Prophet knew that his grandson and 2^nd Infallible Heir, Imam Hasan Mojtaba (AS) would be laid to rest in this blessed cemetery, followed by three more of his Infallible Heirs. He also knew that one day, this sacred cemetery where his uncle, aunts, some of his wives and companions were also buried, will be blasphemously destroyed by the Godless Wahhabi cult, and that is the reason, he time and again emphasized the sanctity of this graveyard, as is attested by the books of hadith and history of our Sunni brethren as well.

Today, when Takfiri terrorism, created and funded by the Wahhabi regime of Riyadh, has assumed alarming proportions and continues to take toll of the innocent life of Muslim men, women, and children almost daily in Syria, Libya, Yemen, Iraq, Egypt, Afghanistan, and Pakistan – much to the delight of the archenemies of Islam, the Zionists and the Americans – isn’t it time for Muslims around the world, whatever their schools of jurisprudence, to rally to the cause of Islam and sake of Islamic solidarity?

It is time to wake up and mobilize resources for rebuilding the Baqie Cemetery, especially when it has now become crystal clear that after decades of lip service to the cause of Islam’s former qibla, Bayt al-Moqaddas, the Wahhabi regime has revealed its truly anti-Islamic colours, by openly backing the Zionist entity’s plots in Gaza, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Libya, Nigeria, Yemen, and other places, in addition to its hostility against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

We wish remind our Muslim brothers worldwide that the cherished goal of the liberation of Qods and the end of Israel, will remain an empty slogan as long as Jannat al-Baqie lies in ruins and the holy cities of Mecca and Medina are under occupation of the Saudi regime, which two years ago during the Hajj pilgrimage was criminally involved in the tragic stampede in Mena, resulting in the killing of thousands of Muslims, including several hundred Iranians.

Remember, like the Zionists who are eradicating the Islamic heritage in Palestine through such blasphemous moves like the drilling of a tunnel under the sacred al-Aqsa Mosque in order to loosen its foundations for eventual destruction, their cousins the Wahhabis have also destroyed the house where the Prophet was born in Mecca and the tombs of the Bani Hashem in the equally sacred Jannat al-Mu’alla Cemetery of Mecca, such as those of the Prophet’s grandfather Hazrat Abdul-Muttaleb, uncle and guardian Hazrat Abu Taleb, mother Amena bint Wahb and the loyal wife of over 25-long years Umm al-Momineen (Mother of Believers), Hazrat Khadija (SA).
