Ayatollah Sistani: Public support for Iran is a “Collective Duty” (Wajib Kifaei)

Pars Today – Iraq’s top Shia cleric and source of emulation has declared public support for Iran as a “Wajib Kifaei” (a communal obligation).

According to Pars Today citing IRNA, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Sistani emphasized in a religious decree (fatwa) that public support for Iran and solidarity with it is a collective duty.”

In this decree, he stressed that protecting the stability of the Islamic system and preventing separatist plots through widespread public presence and solidarity in the field is a Wajib Kifaei at the present time.

Last Wednesday, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Sistani strongly condemned the military aggressions against Iranian territory and called on all Muslims and free-thinkers worldwide to express solidarity with the oppressed Iranian nation.
