Parallels between Arab League meeting & Meccan plot against Islam

The recent Arab League foreign ministerial meeting in Cairo turned out to be a platform for pouring poisonous propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the popular mobilization forces of the Arab world, by oppressive dictatorial regimes, especially Saudi Arabia, whose plots to destabilize Syria and Iraq through cannibalistic Takfiri terrorists have ended in defeat.

Here we present excerpts from an interesting Viewpoint in this regard written by columnist S. Nawabzadeh that appeared in the Wednesday, November 22 issue of Iran’s English language daily “Kayhan International” titled “Parallels between Arab League meeting & Meccan plot against Islam.”

 “The Arab League, or more properly the Zionist Club as it has come to be known these days, held a farcical foreign ministerial meeting in Cairo on Sunday evening, which happened to be eve of the month of Rabi al-Awwal, a very important anniversary in the annals of history – a day of disgrace for disbelievers and an occasion of resounding triumph for the righteous.

“Before elaborating on this vital point, which seems to have gone unnoticed by both the organizers and the media, it should be noted that the said meeting, called by Saudi Arabia, was not held to solve any problem. It was held to create tensions and further divisions, by branding Lebanon’s legendary anti-terrorist movement, the Hezbollah, as ‘terrorist’, and accusing the Islamic Republic of Iran of supporting ‘terrorism’ in spite of the undeniable fact that the two, on the invitation of the governments of Syria and Iraq, had teamed up to save the said countries from real cannibalistic terrorists for the sake of peace and stability in the region.

“It is now crystal clear that the get-together in the Egyptian capital, despite major absentees – such as the foreign ministers of Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Qatar, and Oman – was orchestrated by the US and the Zionist entity to tighten their tentacles on Saudi Arabia and other Arab reactionary regimes, as is evident by the thundering of threats against Iran.”

The daily said in its comments on the Arab League Foreign Ministerial Meet: “Whatever resolution passed by such a circus, or the chief organizers of the circus, is nothing but self-defeatist, in view of their dubious characteristics, their insincere intentions, their suppression of the masses, their imposition of wars, their creation and funding of cannibalistic terrorists, their war on Yemen, their hands stained with the blood of not just Yemenis, but Syrians, Iraqis, Afghans, Lebanese, and Pakistanis, their dalliance with the Great Satan and the Zionist Devil, their lack of faith in Islam, and their abject impotency before the Infinite Power of God Almighty.

“Now coming to the vital point missed by the organizers and the media, it is interesting to note that the heads of neo Arab Jahiliyya had assembled to plot the ‘assassination’ of Iran and Hezbollah on the very day their progenitors, the leaders of Meccan Jahiliyya had got together exactly 1439 lunar years ago, to carry out the assassination of the Almighty’s Last and Greatest Messenger.

“Why was ancient Arab Jahiliyya bent upon killing Prophet Muhammad (SAWA)? Was he a terrorist? Did he unsheathe any sword to strike at them? Did he disgrace women or oppress children? Did he covet their wealth?

“The answers are a series of No.

“The fault of the Messenger of Mercy, in the sight of Abu Sufyan, Abu Jahal, Abu Lahab and others, was that he was asking the Arabs to return to the path of the One and Only God, to abstain from vices, to stop worshipping idols and deities of their warped minds, to desist from infanticide, to cease fratricidal vendettas, to grant freedom to slaves, to refrain from looting the properties of others, and etc.”

 “Now”, said Kayhan International, “the question arises, why is modern Arab Jahiliyya bent upon destroying Hezbollah, Ansarallah, Hashd ash-Sha’bi, and the Islamic Republic of Iran?

“Did they create sectarian divisions? Did they massacre the masses? Did they destroy towns and cities? Did they blow up mosques, shrines and religious places with worshippers inside? Did they cruelly behead people practicing other beliefs? Did they enslave and abuse women? Did they worship at the altar of the US and the Zionists?

“The answer is again a series of No.

“The fault of the Islamic Republic, Hezbollah and other popular mobilization forces of Arab lands, in the eyes of the Aal-e Saud, the Aal-e Khalifa, the Aal-e Nahyan and all other Aal-e Shaytan, is that Iran and its so-called Arab proxies are upholding the lofty humanitarian values bequeathed to Muslims by Prophet Muhammad (SAWA), his Infallible Ahl al-Bayt and his Righteous Companions.

“What are these values which Riyadh, Manama, Abu Dhabi and their godfathers in Tel Aviv and Washington so intensely hate?”

The daily by providing the answer exposed the Arab reactionary regimes in their true American-Zionist colours.

Kayhan International wrote: “It is obvious that over the past 38 years, Iran has advocated Islamic unity, the solidarity of the Ummah irrespective of the schools of jurisprudence Muslims follow, the stability of the region, the development of joint economy through inter-trade without squandering of the riches, the freedom of the masses and their right to elect representatives of their choice for governing them, the promotion of genuine Islamic shari’a in society, resistance against terrorists, armed struggle and sacrifices to eradicate terrorism (as has happened in Syria and Iraq), opposition to unwarranted American or any other foreign presence in the Muslim World, and last but not the least the resolve to liberate Islam’s former qibla Bayt al-Moqaddas and all Palestine from Zionist usurpation.

“Praised be God Almighty. Just as the plot of Meccan Jahiliyya to assassinate the Prophet miserably failed, thanks to the valour of Imam Ali (AS) in volunteering to sleep in the Prophet’s bed that night so the latter could migrate undetected to Medina and lay the foundations of the glorious Islamic state, the plot of neo Arab Jahiliyya is all set to fail.

“No matter what threats the reactionary Arab regimes thunder at Islamic Iran and the popular forces and independent governments, or whatever sophisticated military toys they buy from their godfather, they are doomed to defeat just like their terrorist brood Daesh and all other Takfiris.”
