Birthday of Imam Mahdi & awaiting end of injustice

Heartiest congratulations to you all on a very auspicious occasion. Today, the Islamic Republic of Iran is celebrating the blessed birthday of the awaited Saviour of Humanity, who was born over a millennium ago, and is in occultation until his reappearance by the Will of God in the end times, to end corruption and oppression on Planet Earth by establishing the global government of peace, prosperity and justice.
The concept of the Saviour may be common to all religions, but it is only Islam which speaks of his universal mission, while it is only the School of the Prophet of Islam’s Ahl al-Bayt or Blessed Household that specifies the identity of this Promised personage.
Now we have an exclusive article on the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance), the 12th and Last Infallible Successor of Prophet Muhammad (Blessings of God upon him and his progeny).
“And We desired to show favour to those who were abased in the land, and to make them Imams, and to make them the heirs.”
What you heard and read was Ayah 5 of Surah al-Qasas of the Holy Qur’an.
The Promise of God is true. To Him “belongs the Earth and He gives it as inheritance to whoever He wants… and the (happy) end is for the God-fearing.”
Almighty Allah has specified in all heavenly scriptures, especially the last and final universal revelation to all mankind (that is, the Holy Qur’an) that Islam will prevail throughout the globe, over all religions, though the disbelievers be averse.
Presently the world is passing through one of its darkest periods. Might has become right, while the rights of humanity are being mercilessly trampled upon. Justice is conspicuously absent. Hypocrisy prevails everywhere with the scoundrels in power resorting to such deceptive slogans as freedom, liberty, democracy and the like, in a bid to deceive people and justify their misrule.
The rulers of almost all countries, whether those democratically elected or those ruling through inheritance – actually installed as hereditary potentates by Britain and serving American interests at present – are rogues, rascals and ruffians.
These rowdies think of nothing but creating mischief, promoting terrorism, and shedding the blood of millions to satisfy their satanic inclinations as dictated by the cults and creeds to which they adhere.
Tyrants, whose countries have stockpiled doomsday nuclear arsenals, threaten to use weapons of mass destruction against countries that do not bow to their dictates, no matter if the fragile ecology of Planet Earth is destroyed and future generations born with genetic defects.
As a result, the average person is confused. There seems to be no solution in sight, as those bereft of faith, whether the rich or the frustrated, resort to drugs, promiscuity, fraud, violence, unnatural same-gender relations (to name some of the vices), thereby worsening the human plight.
If the sub-Saharan Africans, because of the colour of their skin are treated no better than animals by the white men of the West, the abominable racists such as the Zionists who have usurped the land of Palestine, the cannibalistic Takfiris destabilizing Muslim lands, and the chauvinists in Myanmar and to a certain extent in India, are freely indulging in the worst form of terrorism against helpless men, women, and children.
It is under these circumstances that the Divine Promise of the salvation of mankind through the universal Saviour, comes to our rescue.
Yes, the Promise of God holds true, and it will materialize sooner than later. The All-Wise, Who entrusted His Last and Greatest Messenger with the universal message of Islam to make it prevail over all other religions in the future, has not left true believers stumbling in the dark.
Prophet Muhammad (SAWA), who as all denominations of Muslims believe, gave tidings of the advent in the end times of his direct descendant, Imam Mahdi (AS), for ridding the world from all vestiges of corruption and oppression, said in clear words that the Saviour of Humanity and Establisher of the global government of peace, prosperity, and justice, will be the offspring of his Immaculate Daughter, Hazrat Fatema az-Zahra (SA) through her younger son, Imam Husain (AS), the Martyr of Karbala.
Every year, the 15th of Sha’ban revives the hopes of humanity and strengthens the beliefs of the faithful, no matter if some over-inflated servants of Iblis the Arch-Satan and the US the Great Satan, try to mock at the concept of the advent of Imam Mahdi (AS).
The School of the Ahl al-Bayt which, as per the teachings of the Holy Qur’an, regards the Prophet’s blessed progeny as the Divinely-Designated Leaders of mankind, especially in view of the famous hadith of Twelve Infallible Imams, with the Last One rising as Qa’em al-Mahdi (AS), has historical evidence of the birth of the Redeemer in the city of Samarra in Iraq in the year 255 AH (corresponding to 869 AD).
He was five-years old and was being brought up in secrecy when his father, the Prophet’s 11th Infallible Heir, Imam Hasan al-Askari (AS) was martyred through poisoning by the Abbasid regime which was fearful of the approaching figure of “Twelve” and the end of the rule of tyrants.
Divine Providence Willed that his imamate continue in the state of occultation. As a matter of fact, the Ghaybat as-Sughra or Minor Occultation that began in 260 AH, corresponding to 874 AD, meant that he was hidden from the prying eyes of the usurpers of the caliphate who had launched a manhunt to trace him out and murder him.
The Abbasids shuddered at the thought of his return, which God Willed should be prolonged for several centuries as Ghaybat al-Kubra or Major Occultation – as a trial for mankind, as a respite for the doubters to reform and rectify their beliefs, and as a hope for the believers to look forward to his eventual reappearance without the least pessimism after having endured the blessings of unwavering awaiting that no propaganda of the faithless, no plot of hypocrites, and no treason of the Takfiris could undermine.
The One promised by God, foretold by the Messenger of Mercy – as both Shi’a and Sunni sources of hadith testify – and expected in all religions as the Deliverer of humanity, will indeed reappear when the world would be brimming with violence, bloodshed, treachery, and all sorts of injustices – as the trend of events of our times indicates.
He will make his advent at the holy Ka’ba, the Symbolic House of the One and Only Creator. He will stand between the Rukn al-Yamaani and the Maqaam al-Ibrahim (the Station of Prophet Abraham), and call five times for redemption of justice, that is Isteghatha or appeal in the Divine Court for help.
True Muslims from all over the world will rally to the Imam’s call on his reappearance, which would be preceded by five definite signs, according to a statement from the Prophet’s 6th Infallible Heir, Imam Ja’far as-Sadeq (AS).
"Before the uprising of Imam Mahdi (AS) there will be five certain signs: Yemeni, Sufyani, the call from the sky, martyrdom of Nafs Zakiyyah (the pure soul) and the rift in the desert (where the earth will swallow an army sent to Hijaz by the enemies of the Ahl al-Bayt)".
This hadith is ample proof that the Arabian Peninsula would be cleared of the evil presence of the Wahhabis, especially the ruling Saudi Najdi family of brigands with Jewish roots, who are masquerading as Muslims in order to destroy the spirit of Islam through their collaboration with the US and the Zionists, and their open enmity with the followers of the Prophet’s Ahl al-Bayt.
Another point to note is the Islamic Revolution in Yemen and preparation of Yemeni Muslims for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (AS), along with the flags of the east from Khorasan (Iran). It is mentioned that Sanaa will be the capital of the Islamic Movement in Yemen, and its leader will be from the progeny of Zayd the Martyr, the son of Imam Ali ibn Husain Zain al-Abedin (AS).
The Mahdi (AS) will have as his lieutenant Prophet Jesus (AS) – who will also reappear and disown Christianity – which means, most of the Europeans and Americans, having rid themselves of the despots in the White House and the Zionists, would by then be God-fearing believers, receptive to the universal mission of Islam, as preached by the 12th Imam whose mother was the spotlessly pure lady, Narjes, a granddaughter of the Byzantine emperor and a direct descendant through her mother of Simeon, one of the 12 disciples of the Virgin-born Messiah.
No wonder, the Islamic Republic of Iran has designated the blessed birthday of Imam Mahdi (AS) as the Day of the Oppressed in order to keep alive the hopes of humanity.
Yesterday, on the eve of 15th Sha’ban, over three million pilgrims thronged the shrine of the Chief of Martyrs, Imam Husain (AS) in Karbala to mark the blessed birthday of the Redeemer of Mankind, and to pray for his reappearance. The same number of devotees assembled at the sacred Jamkaran Mosque near Qom (built over a millennium ago on the instructions of the 12th Imam himself) to mark the occasion. Similar scenes were witnessed in holy Mashhad, while all over the world tens of millions others, whether at mosques or in the privacy of their homes, observed this grand night with prayers and supplications.
Among the phrases of one of these supplications are:
“Where is the "Divine aspect" the God-fearing may look up to?
“Where is the link that connects the cosmic complex?
“Where is the One who will destroy those who transgress and commit evil, those who are immersed in sins and those who raise their heads (against the affair of Allah)?
“Where is the Master of the Day of victory and the One who will unfurl the flag of guidance?”
