North Korea Discovers Difficulty of Dealing with Dotard’s “Gangster”
The US State Department, which is presently looking more like headquarters of mafia dons, rather than an office dealing with foreign affairs, is pushing the world towards disaster, as is clear from the threats and theatrics of a gangster-like person placed at its head.
The following is a viewpoint that appeared in this regard in Iran’s English language daily ‘Kayhan International’ titled: “North Korea Discovers the Difficulty of Dealing with Dotard’s “Gangster”.
Kayhan International wrote: “North Korea’s apt description of US foreign policy as “gangster-like” after the recent talks in Pyongyang between Washington’s Italian origin Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, whose appearance and mannerism resemble those of an underworld character rather than a diplomat, quickly brought to mind the notorious American-Italian gangster Al Capone’s crooked quote: “You accomplish more with a smile, a handshake, and a gun than you do with just a smile and a handshake.”
“That sums up the erratic policies of the team of thugs chosen as administration officials by the 72-year ex-realtor (property-grabber) Donald Trump, who late last year had earned from North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un the fitting epithet of “dotard”.
“According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary “dotard” means a person who has entered his/her dotage, which is “a state or period of senile decay marked by decline of mental poise and alertness”.
“The same standard American lexicon describes a “gangster” as “a member of a gang of violent criminals”, and also “racketeer”, or person trying to extort money (or concessions in the political sphere) – through intimidation and threats.”
Kayhan International pointed out: “The political acumen of the North Korean leadership has to be appreciated, since it did not take long for Pyongyang – within a month of the Singapore Summit between Kim and Trump – to realize that the other side is nothing but a bunch of crooks who will never keep up their own promises and commitments to any accord or agreement.
“Pompeo, who has no political experience and his business background is as shady as that of his ringleader Trump, is no sleuth either, although for a brief period of a year and three months, his boss had made him Director of the notorious Central Intelligent Agency (CIA).
“Thus, how can seasoned diplomats in North Korea or for that matter in any other independent country, deal with a person or a band of arrogantly ignorant persons lacking political experience, unaware of international realities, and devoid of cultural etiquette?
“The only objectives of rogues and ruffians are to behave in a rowdy manner with all and sundry on the assumption that bullying will browbeat their opponents into submission.
“Such gangland behaviour might cow down rootless, unrepresentative and miserably rich reactionary regimes to yield to the demands of the mafia dons and submit to them whatever wealth they have accumulated through unscrupulous sale of oil, but in the world of international relations it does not work.”
According to Kayhan International: “Europe has realized the ridiculousness of dealing with Trump and so has Canada – countries which have been the traditional friends of the US, which has now become the dog that is being violently wagged by its own tale, the illegal Zionist entity.
“In view of these undeniable facts, and also from its past experience with Bill Clinton, North Korea should neither be intimidated by Pompeo (who will soon burn out) nor think of denuclearization, unless the US takes practical steps to first dismantle part of its own doomsday arsenal of weapons of mass destruction (nuclear, chemical and biological).
“If Trump thinks that his “smart and beautiful weapons” will make nations bow to his threats and sanctions, he is living in a fool’s paradise and is grossly mistaken.
“Sooner, than later, his policies will badly boomerang and the free world will surely triumph over the US bid for hegemony.”
