Iran and Tajikistan express resolve to counter terrorism

Pars Today - The Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, in a meeting with Tajikistan’s Minister of Defense, outlined the numerous areas for bilateral and regional cooperation, especially in combating terrorism, and announced Iran’s readiness to implement bilateral agreements.

Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Akbar Ahmadian met with Tajikistan’s Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Imomali Sobirzoda in Tehran on Tuesday. He emphasized the importance of elevating the level of political, cultural, economic, defense, scientific, technological, and security relations between the two brotherly and like-minded countries with a shared history of civilization and culture.
