Baghaei: UK responsible for fallout from Tehran-London rift

Pars Today - The spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: "The British regime should know that adopting a policy of baseless “claims and accusations” against the Islamic Republic of Iran will lead to increased distrust and further breakdown of diplomatic relations, for which London will be responsible for the consequences."

Esmaeil Baghaei, pointing out that attributing the actions of specific groups to Iran is a clear diversion intended to cover up UK’s destructive activities, particularly in the West Asia region, emphasized: “Levelling such allegations is a misguided policy to which London has, in a way, become addicted in recent years.” The Iranian Embassy in London had rejected recent British accusations against Iran regarding an alleged connection to a criminal gang based in Sweden known as “Foxtrot.” /ISNA
