Pars Today - The Russian minister of energy announced on Sunday that tourism growth between his country and Iran in 2024 has increased by 52% compared to the previous year.
Sergei Tsivilev, in an interview, noted that this 52% growth in tourism sector is a significant achievement. He attributed the increase to the uninterrupted high volume of air traffic between Iran and Russia, and the visa-free travel options available to tourist groups. The Russian minister of energy further stated that the capacity for this tourism flow is not yet exhausted, and he anticipates further increases in tourist numbers in the coming years. /IRNA
