Araghchi: Relations with regional countries including Pakistan & India of ‘utmost significance’ for Iran
Pars Today - Iran’s foreign minister, who is in Islamabad, says Tehran and Islamabad are working to put bilateral cooperation on a “better path.”
Seyyed Abbas Araghchi made the remark upon his arrival in the Pakistani capital on Sunday night as he started a day-long visit to the neighboring country for high-level talks. He said Iran attaches importance to ties with Pakistan and other countries in the region, adding that during his stay in Islamabad, he would raise mutual relations and regional issues with senior Pakistani officials. The top Iranian diplomat emphasized "The situation in the region is very important for Iran, and we emphasize on the importance of easing tensions while calling on all parties to exercise restraint and prevent the escalation of the situation.”/ IRNA
