Members of the "Pugwash" conference meet with Iranian officials in Tehran

Pars Today - Members of the International Pugwash Conference, whose main mission is to combat nuclear weapons, met on Friday with Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, and Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs is an international non-governmental organization formed in the field of disarmament, and some participants in this conference influence the decision-making of their respective countries.

At the meeting, members of the International Pugwash Conference exchanged views with the head of the Atomic Energy Organization and the Iranian Foreign Minister on the dangers of proliferation of nuclear weapons and ways to counter it.
