Islamabad confirms immediate ceasefire between Pakistan & India
Pars Today - Pakistan’s deputy prime minister and foreign minister confirmed on Saturday evening that his country has reached a ceasefire agreement with India following recent clashes.
Ishaq Dar, in an interview with the “Geo News” news website, stated that Pakistan and India have reached an immediate ceasefire agreement. The Pakistani foreign minister made this announcement following an escalation of tensions with India, which earlier today saw military operations by the Pakistani Army against Indian positions. He also said that the two countries have agreed to an immediate halt to hostilities. In this regard, the US President Donald Trump, in a statement on social media, wrote that India and Pakistan have reached an immediate ceasefire agreement mediated by Washington./ IRIB news agency
