Rejection of claims about Iranian watermelon exports to Russia
Pars Today- Speaking on Saturday, the commercial counselor of the Iranian Embassy in Moscow, emphasized the high quality, and complete health and soundness of all Iranian-made products exported to Russia, and full compliance with relevant Russian standards.
Since claims have been made about the quality of Iranian watermelons, the Iranian Embassy in Moscow has requested the necessary explanations about these claims in an official note. The commercial counselor, Mohsen Rahimi, while emphasizing the complete health and compliance with Russian standards with regards to all products exported to that country, gave assurances that all Iranian products exported to Russia will enter Russia only after obtaining the relevant quality permits and in accordance with strict Russian standards, as well as complying with regulations of Iran's Agricultural Protection Organization. Rahimi stressed that otherwise these agricultural products will not be released into the Russian market, and will not be sold in Russia.
