Iran’s Parliament speaker meets with his Omani counterpart

Pars Today – The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament (Majlis), Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf met and conferred with his Omani counterpart, Khalid bin Hilal bin Nasser Al-Maawali, on Wednesday on the sidelines of the 19th Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC).

The conference which coincides with the 25th anniversary of the establishment of this Union, officially began on Wednesday with the participation of parliamentary delegations from 38 Islamic countries in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. The Iranian parliamentary delegation, consisting of members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly who are members of the PUIC and the Iranian-Indonesian Parliamentary Friendship Group, also participated in this conference. /ISNA
